Self-custody without the guesswork

Your crypto, on a device only you can unlock

Sentinel Wallet Suite pairs a hardware wallet with an app that shows what you hold, prepares transactions, and moves nothing until you approve it on the device itself. Your keys are generated offline and never leave it.

  • key

Keys are created on the device and never exported to the app, to your computer, or to us

  • touch_app

Every transfer is confirmed on the device's own screen before it is signed

  • history

A replacement device is restored from your own backup — no account and no support ticket

Inside the app

One app for the jobs you would otherwise open an exchange to do

It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android, and pairs with the device over USB or Bluetooth. Everything below is prepared in the app and confirmed on the device.

pie_chart

See everything you hold in one place

Balances across every account and asset, priced in your own currency, with a readable history instead of a block explorer.

send

Send and receive without clipboard errors

The app reads the receiving address off your device screen and shows it in full before you approve, so a swapped clipboard cannot redirect a transfer.

swap_horiz

Swap between assets in the app

Compare rates from integrated providers and sign the swap on the device. The coins move straight to an address you control.

savings

Stake without giving up custody

Delegate your stake and keep the keys. Rewards land in your own account, and you can unstake from the app whenever you choose.

account_balance_wallet

Separate accounts for separate purposes

Split long-term holdings from spending money, each with its own labelled account, and keep a watch-only view of accounts you never sign from.

notifications

Know what moved before you go looking

Price and balance alerts, plus confirmation the moment a transaction is signed, so an unexplained transfer does not sit unnoticed for days.

First run

Set up your device in about fifteen minutes

Nothing in these three steps can move funds — the device is only creating and protecting your keys. Do it in one sitting, with the recovery card from the box to hand.

1

Unbox and connect

Plug the device into your computer, or pair it over Bluetooth, and open the app. It checks the firmware is genuine before anything else happens.

2

Write down your recovery backup

The device generates your keys and shows the recovery words on its own screen. Write them on the card in the box and keep it offline — no server, ours included, holds a copy.

3

Move a small amount in first

Copy a receiving address from the app, send a test amount from wherever your funds sit now, and confirm it arrived. Move the rest the same way once you are happy.

The trade-off

What actually changes when you hold the keys

Both models work, and they differ on one question: who is able to move your funds. Worth reading through before you move anything.

What differs

Self-custody with Sentinel

Your keys, on a device only you can unlock

Holding on an exchange

The platform holds the keys and approves withdrawals

Who can move your funds
You, and only after the device confirms it
The platform, on your instruction or on its own
If the company fails
Your funds are untouched; we never held them
Withdrawals can freeze while claims are settled
If someone gets your login
It moves nothing without the physical device
Account access alone can be enough to drain a balance
When you want to withdraw
You broadcast it; the network confirms it
Limits, reviews and outages are the platform's call
If you lose the device
Restore your backup onto a replacement
A support ticket and identity checks
What you have to manage yourself
One recovery backup, stored offline by you
Account security, and the platform's solvency
Under the hood

The key never leaves the device, and the app never sees it

Press send and the app builds the transaction, then hands it to the device. The device shows the amount and the destination address on its own screen and waits for you to confirm physically. Only then does it sign, and the signed transaction goes back to the app to broadcast.

  • touch_app

A transaction the app prepares but the device never signs is worthless to anyone who intercepts it.

  • code

The signing path is open source and independently reviewed, so it can be checked line by line rather than taken on trust.

  • history

Your recovery backup restores a replacement device on its own. There is no account reset here, and nobody who can do it for you.

The questions that decide it

These are the ones people ask most while they are moving funds for the first time. If yours is not here, support will answer it before you buy anything.

Nothing is lost. The funds sit on the blockchain, not on the device — the device holds the keys that prove they are yours. Get a replacement, choose restore rather than set up, and enter your recovery backup. You are back in within minutes.

Same answer, and it is why the backup exists. The hardware is replaceable and cheap next to what it protects. The recovery phrase is the part that cannot be reissued to you by anyone.

No, and nobody can undo it. Whoever holds the phrase controls the funds, with or without the device. That is why it should never be photographed, typed into a computer, or kept in cloud notes. Write it on the card provided and keep it offline.

No. The app reads public blockchain data to show balances, and we never receive your keys or your recovery backup. That also means we cannot freeze, move or recover your funds for you — it is the trade for holding them yourself.

The app is free to download on desktop and mobile. Signing needs a Sentinel device; without one you can still install it and explore a watch-only view of any address.
